Artwork pipeline

From sourcing to publication, each asset flows through our standardized pipeline to maintain quality and compliance.

1. Collect source assets

  • Use official club media kits, federations, or licensed photography partners.
  • Ensure permissions cover digital redistribution and derivative works.
  • Capture metadata: photographer credit, license, and acquisition date.

2. Normalize & retouch

  • Apply brand-safe color correction and remove watermarks.
  • Trim excess padding, align to consistent canvas sizes, and export to required formats.
  • Run automated background removal for player portraits and kit photos.

3. Upload & verify

  • Submit assets through the portal Artwork tab with evidence links.
  • Attach EXIF/license metadata so stewards can audit usage rights.
  • Preview responsive breakpoints (mobile, tablet, desktop) before publishing.

4. Publish & monitor

  • Stewards approve assets and trigger CDN cache invalidation.
  • Atlas surfaces new imagery immediately; APIs serve updated URLs on next fetch.
  • Monitor analytics for asset load times and broken links.
