Biography

Trevor Anthony Williams (born April 25, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs and New York Mets. Williams was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the second round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. He made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Marlins and also played for the Batavia Muckdogs and Greensboro Grasshoppers that year. Williams was promoted to the Major Leagues for September call ups in 2016. Williams made his MLB debut September 7, 2016, for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
